Since Last Christmas, it has been a busy and exciting year at Tullich Apartment! It has been an absolute
pleasure and privilege to welcome so many guests from not only the United Kingdom but from around the world and to share our love for this slice of paradise in the Scottish Highlands, throughout each of the seasons.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….

As always, the lead up to Christmas has been magical in Ballater, especially with events such as the Ballater Winter Festival brightening up the village with Christmas lights and festive cheer. Celebrations will be in full swing throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays with live music, ceilidhs and events for all to enjoy in our local villages and towns . Not even The Grinch could steal such joys!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland… The arrival of winter and hopefully some more crisp white powder snow in Scotland doesn’t stop us exploring and adventuring into the great outdoors – just wrap up warm and head for the hills! Enjoy a huge variety of outdoor experiences, from hiking or biking, to horse riding and sight- seeing. With so many excellent winter experiences, featuring charming un-spoilt landscapes, beautiful mountain scenery you will enjoy the freedom to explore your surroundings, as the mood takes you. You can choose from a variety of activities to truly embrace the beauty of the season. For the more active of our guests you can enjoy snowboarding and skiing with the arrival of snow in nearby Glenshee and The Lecht. Or even just head out to the wonderful shops, restaurants and bars in Ballater, you can indulge in delicious cuisines, giving you authentic Scottish tastes and new exhilarating flavours to savour.
