Legendary Linn o’ Dee

Just a short drive from Ballater, the Linn O’ Dee is one of Deeside’s most beautiful natural landmarks, where the River Dee rushes through a dramatic rocky gorge. Surrounded by ancient Caledonian pine forest, it’s an ideal spot for a gentle walk, picnic, or simply taking in the stunning Highland scenery. In summer, the area offers wonderful opportunities for wildlife watching and exploring the southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park.
